Non stop adventure set in the 1930’s, with of course a mummy chasing the good guys.
The first movie of the trilogy is great, full of adventure and excitement.

Fun story, fun characters, great one liners.
Fun for kids and adults.
One of the best comedies of the 80’s
Ghost Busters 1 is the best, but number 2 is still very fun.
Year: 1984, 1987
A meteor lands and starts to grow fast evolving creatures.
Like a modern version of ghost busters.
Lots of fun.
Year: 2001
Girl gets kidnapped by pirates, boy goes to her rescue.
This is what I call a great pirate movie.
Great special effects and fun pirate adventure.
The first movie of the three is by far the best (The Curse of the Black Pearl). The first is suitable for supervised family viewing (undead skeletons, and people do die). The second two get a bit more violent and confusing (but are fun nonetheless).
The three movies are:
Pirates of the Caribbean – The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Man’s Chest (2006)
Pirates of the Caribbean – At World’s End (2007)
Years: 2003, 2006, 2007
A fantastic Alfred Hitchcock movie.
Mistaken identity leads to a chase across the country.
One of the best mystery movies around.
Year: 1959
A great fantasy movie about a dwarf trying to return a baby to its mother.
Adventure, action, and lots of fun abound.
A great family movie.
Year: 1988
Fun scenes with fun music.
Even if you don’t like Abba songs usually, you may like them here as the scenery, comedy, and actors make them come alive.
If you are a fan of Abba, you should definitely see it, even if these voices aren’t as good.
Fun in the sun in the Greek isles.
Year: 2008
Big robots that transform into cars or planes land on Earth and battle each other, a lot more fun than it sounds.
If you liked the cartoon as a kid, you will like this even more.
If you didn’t like the cartoon, still give this a try as it is fun, full of action, has lots of great special effects and some great battles.
A bit of comedy, lots of action. Kids through adults will love this (A bit violent for young ones perhaps).
Year: 2007
A great adventure in which a small time pilot discovers a rocket back pack.
Comic book style adventure that is probably the kind of story in comic books in the old days.
Set in the 1930’s.
Year: 1991
One of the best cult classics from the 80’s.
This movie has a great following and is great to watch if you want to reminisce about skipping classes at school and seeing how it should be done.
Minor swearing but otherwise a clean fun movie.
Make sure to watch to the end of the credits.
Year: 1986
Yes it may be dumb, but it is so fun.
If you want a movie that is not serious at all, and has some great stupid scenes, this is for you.
Best of all it is not crude humour.
Ashton Kutcher plays his character just like he did Kelso from “That 70’s Show”.
Year: 2000
One of those movies with a premise that makes you think “what if” or “what would I do”.
A lady is mistaken for a man’s fiance after she rescues him and he gets amnesia.
Humorous romantic comedy without any crudeness, rudeness or awkward scenes.
A very clean romantic comedy, which is completely satisfying and does not disappoint.
Year: 1995
Kids and young teenagers will love this.
A group of kids discover a map to pirate treasure and go exploring for it.
A little swearing by the kids in the movie, but not much.
Family adventure movie at its best.
This is a favourite of many who grew up in the 80’s
Year: 1985
Giant spiders, fun stereotypical jokes, lots of action.
This is a great monster movie that can be watched again and again.
Jumpy, but not a horror.
Year: 2002
