A series of movies about the exploits of new recruits at a police academy.
Not to be taken seriously at all. Plenty of slapstick humour, funny pranks, and lots of laughs. These movies are supposed to be silly, and certainly are.
The first movie in the series is the best, with each following one not quite as good as the previous movie.
Early ones are classic 80′s movies.
They are not family viewing (adult themes), but later ones have less adult stuff.
For a simple silly laugh with nothing too serious, these are a good choice.

Police Academy 6: City Under Siege: 1989

One of the best movies from the 80′s.
This has not dated as it is set in a fictional medieval land.
Action, adventure, pirates, kidnapping, monsters, giants, fencing, even a bit of romance.
It is full of quotable phrases that are still used by fans.
The whole family should enjoy this.
If it isn’t one of your favourites yet, it should be.

The fun had at a school for geniuses
A fun 80’s teen movie, full of one liners and gags. Great for those who like 80’s movies.
Suitable for mid teenagers and up. There are a few sex references, though no nudity or gross humour.

In the near future (2019), a reality TV show pits convicts hoping to gain their freedom against heavily armed superstars. In comes Arnie as the wrongly convicted hero, ready to fix the corrupt system (destroy and fix may mean the same thing there).
This is very much an action Arnie movie. Lots of action, violence, and good guy versus bad guy fun. Not suitable for children, though teens will probably enjoy it.
One of the Arnie movies that made the line “I’ll Be Back” famous.

Our heroes continue their adventure against the Empire.
The third in the original series, this is episode 6 in the story.
Again a very popular movie. It has some fantastic space and land battles, and a very satisfying climatic ending.

The empire takes the fight to the rebellion. This follows on from “A New Hope”.
Episode 5 in the story. This is a bit more serious, but is still full of great adventure and fun situations.
Again suitable for the whole family.
The end is a set up for the next movie. It is best to watch all three (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi) one after the other.

A man on holidays gets suspicious of his neighbours and their strange night time actions.
A great comedy, where the characters are even more interesting then the storyline.
It is a simple yet fun satire about nosey neighbours and life in suburbia.

An early Arnie comedy. A near perfect man searches for his twin brother, who is anything but perfect.
A light comedy with plenty of laughs and lots of fun.
