A killer spider catches a lift to a small American town, where it breeds and starts to take over.
This is the kind of movie that makes you think every itch is a spider. Not for those terrified of spiders, but not too scary either. This is another light monster movie that is a bit more realistic (normal size spiders). It has a great story and is lots of fun. (Beware if you get nightmares easily, this may affect children as well)
This a fun movie, as the good guys win and its not really dark and spooky, but a bit more light.
Year: 1990

An adventure that shouldn’t be taken too seriously. It has the type of gung –ho action that Bruce Willis is famous for.

A relatively simple pirate adventure story. The daughter of a pirate captain takes over the leadership of her crew and searches for some hidden treasure.
Although it is an unrealistic and fanciful depiction of pirates and their era in the Caribbean (or maybe because of that), it is still an enjoyable movie.
Plenty of action and entertainment, yet nothing offensive.
Year: 1995
This is character based, with a good story, lots of great special effects, and obviously lots of the destruction scenes every disaster movie has.
Yes people do die, but it is a satisfying movie with a good ending.
There are sad moments but it is not a too violent or inappropriate for family viewing.
Year: 1998
Pure action, fun, and satisfying.
Die Hard 1 and 4 are particularly great. These are the kinds of movies you can rely on if you want a movie that is full of action. Lots of great lines, explosions, gun fights.
Lots of dead bad guys, a fair bit of blood, and swearing (that fits the situation, not just swearing to make it over the top).
Not suitable for kids, but teens and adults will enjoy.

One of those movies that has become a classic.
Small town America, and a man whose day keeps on repeating. What would you do with your life if you could do it over every day, with no consequences.
This is a romance, but it is more than that, take out the romance and it would still be a great movie. Bill Murray is perfect in this role.
