ArachnophobiaA killer spider catches a lift to a small American town, where it breeds and starts to take over.

This is the kind of movie that makes you think every itch is a spider. Not for those terrified of spiders, but not too scary either. This is another light monster movie that is a bit more realistic (normal size spiders). It has a great story and is lots of fun. (Beware if you get nightmares easily, this may affect children as well)

This a fun movie, as the good guys win and its not really dark and spooky, but a bit more light.

ArmageddonA mixed team is gathered to destroy a comet threatening to destroy the world.

An adventure that shouldn’t be taken too seriously. It has the type of gung –ho action that Bruce Willis is famous for.

Suspend belief and have fun.

Blast From the Past

A man comes back to civilization after being stuck in a bomb shelter his whole life with his parents.

Fun, not apocalyptic, a mix of romantic comedy and straight out fun. Watch out especially for Brendan Fraser dominating the dance floor in a 40′s style club. This is one great movie.

It has a great story. It’s light, fun, and has no crude humour.

Buffy the Vampire SlayerNot the TV series, but the movie that came some years before.

A fairly light hearted vampire movie, with lots of jokes and one liners.

Not for kids, but teenagers and adults who appreciate a light thriller should appreciate it. It’s more tongue in cheek comedy than horror or scary.
